Is E-GMP a licensed Philippine recruitment agency?

Yes. E-GMP International Corporation holds Department of Migrant Workers licence DMW-232-LB-12212023-R, and the register lists it with the status Valid License, and the licence runs to 23 September 2029. You can check everything below yourself.

The licence, and how to check it

The Department of Migrant Workers licenses every Philippine agency that may recruit for an overseas employer, and its register is public. E-GMP’s entry shows an MJL Building address on Don Chino Roces Avenue and the status Valid License.

The DMW’s register of licensed recruitment agencies is public, and searching it needs no account.

Type E-GMP, with the hyphen.

The register spells the name with the hyphen, so E-GMP finds us and EGMP does not.

Read the status.

If the search finds nothing, check the hyphen first: E-GMP finds us and EGMP does not.

A licence can be suspended or cancelled before it expires, so check it on the day you deal with us. The same register works for any agency, and the longer walkthrough is on the guide to checking whether an agency is DMW-licensed.

Your own job order is public too

The Department publishes approved job orders by principal. Once your order is approved it appears there under your own company name, with the roles and the headcount on it. Under E-GMP, the register currently lists approved job orders from 55 employers in 11 countries.

The DMW’s register of approved job orders is public, and searching it needs no account.

The search starts on Jobsite:

switch it to Principal, then type your company name.

A licence tells you an agency may recruit. An approved job order under your own name tells you that your order exists, was filed, and was authorised to the agency you think it was.

It works before you commit to anything, too. Search a principal you already know, a partner, or a company whose recruiter has approached you, and you will see what has been approved for them in recent years, and through whom.

Who you would be contracting with

E-GMP International Corporation, registered in the Philippines and classified in the Department’s register as a Private Employment Agency.

  • Registered name:

    E-GMP International Corporation.

  • Office:

3rd Floor, MJL Building, 1175 Chino Roces Avenue, Makati, Metro Manila 1203, Philippines. The address under the name in the register is the office the licence covers.

  • Licence:

    DMW-232-LB-12212023-R, classification Private Employment Agency.

  • +63 2 8523 1893 and inquire@egmpjobs.com.

The name on the licence, the name on the job order and the name on the contract should all be the same name. Where they are not, that is worth an email before anything else happens, with us or with anyone.

The accreditation is yours, not ours

A licence belongs to the agency. Accreditation belongs to the employer. Both have to exist before a job order can be approved in your name, and buyers are often told only about the first.

A principal may hold accreditation with more than one licensed Philippine agency at a time, so the paperwork does not lock you to one supplier.

If an agency tells you otherwise, or that accreditation is something it holds on your behalf, that is checkable with the Department rather than with the agency.

If your company has hired from the Philippines before, we check its accreditation status first and tell you what we find, including when the answer is that it lapsed. Accreditation and job order approval are two of the stages on the employer page; what accreditation involves is under employer resources.

Verification questions

Is E-GMP legitimate?

E-GMP International Corporation holds Department of Migrant Workers licence DMW-232-LB-12212023-R and appears in the Department's public register of licensed recruitment agencies with the status Valid License, at an MJL Building address on Don Chino Roces Avenue. The register is public and searching it needs no account.

I searched the register and found nothing. Why?

Almost always the hyphen. The register matches the name as its own records spell it, so E-GMP finds us and EGMP does not. It also searches by name only, so a licence number typed into the search box returns no result.

What does the status beside the name mean?

Only a status beginning "Valid License" means the agency may legally recruit. Delisted, cancelled, expired, suspended, revoked and the rest all appear in the same register and none of them is a valid licence. Read the status label rather than the licence cell above it, which can show "N/A" for a licensed agency.

Is a DMW accredited agency the same as a DMW licensed agency?

They are two different things and the words get swapped constantly. Agencies are licensed; employers are accredited. Someone asking for a DMW accredited agency usually means a licensed one, and that is the register linked above. Accreditation is the employer's own registration with the Department, and it has to exist before a job order can be approved in that employer's name.

Do I need to be accredited, or does the agency handle that?

You do. A licence belongs to the agency; accreditation belongs to the employer, and both have to exist before a job order can be approved in your name. A principal may hold accreditation with more than one licensed Philippine agency at a time.

How do I confirm that my own job order was actually filed?

Search the Department's approved job orders by principal, under your own company name. An approved order shows the roles and the headcount and the agency it was approved for, which is a stronger check than a licence on its own.

Checked us, and want to talk?

Send the roles, the headcount and the destination. We will come back with what the order needs, which approvals you already hold, and which step is the constraint, within 24 hours.
