What E-GMP recruits for Australia and New Zealand

Trades and technical roles as well as farm work.

  • Metal and fabrication

    Welders, metal fabricators and fitters.

  • Mechanical and electrical

Motor mechanics, electricians and instrument technicians.

  • Construction and plant

Carpenters, plant operators and the other building trades.

  • Dairy and livestock

Dairy cattle farm operators, stockpersons and animal husbandry technicians.

  • Manufacturing

    Glaziers and production operators.

E-GMP holds job orders the Department has approved across these roles, in Australia and in its other markets. Send an occupation that is not on the list and it will tell you whether it can source it and what the Philippine side needs.

The full picture by sector is on all industries, and the other destinations are on markets.

We recruit to the exact job title you nominate

The title on your nomination or job check has to be the title on the Philippine job order, word for word.

  • Your visa route fixes the title

Your visa route is decided on your side, and it fixes the job title before you ever contact us. Whichever route that is, the Philippine job order has to be written to the same title.

  • The title sets what screening has to prove

Each title carries its own qualification or experience requirement, and that is what screening has to evidence. A worker who can do the job but cannot show the qualification your title calls for will not clear the order.

  • Industry labour agreement titles

Some of these titles exist only in the industry labour agreements and have no general equivalent. E-GMP’s approved Australian orders already carry one of them, Dairy Cattle Farm Operator, under that exact name.

Send the title as your nomination or job check states it, and E-GMP will tell you what it needs to fill it.

E-GMP’s Australian job orders

Four Australian employers, on orders the Department approved between September 2023 and April 2026. E-GMP has deployed workers for three of them.

  • Donaldson Farming, Australia

A livestock and cropping business at Deniliquin, New South Wales.

E-GMP has deployed workers to Donaldson Farming, which ordered piggery farm workers, piggery farmers and piggery technicians in January 2025.

  • Beard and Bidmade, Australia

    A dairy partnership.

E-GMP has deployed workers to Beard and Bidmade, which ordered dairy cattle farm operators, dairy farmers and animal husbandry workers in July 2025.

  • Aluminium Republic, Australia

An aluminium extrusion manufacturer at Carrum Downs.

E-GMP has deployed workers to Aluminium Republic, which ordered glaziers in September 2023.

  • WK Wickenton Family Trust, Australia

An approved job order for animal husbandry technicians and dairy farmers, April 2026, still in process.

The four orders come to 52 workers, and the dairy and piggery work is three separate orders for three different farms.

Every one of these is searchable in the Department’s register under the employer’s own name, and so is E-GMP’s licence. Here is how to check both.

New Zealand: when you must use a licensed agency

Immigration New Zealand requires an employer hiring six or more Filipino workers to use a DMW-licensed agent. E-GMP holds that licence.

An approved job check is valid for six months, and the Philippine accreditation and job order have to be finished inside it. Send the requirement while the job check is still open rather than after it is granted.

Start the Philippine half now

Your accreditation and job order can be underway while your nomination or job check is still with your own government. The two can run at the same time.

Both approvals have expiry dates. Run them one after the other and the first can expire while the second is still being worked.

Your side

An approved New Zealand job check is valid for six months. An Australian nomination carries its own validity.

The Philippine side

Your company is accredited with the Department of Migrant Workers and the job order is approved in your name. E-GMP prepares and files both, and the accreditation is reused for the orders that follow.

If you have hired before

Accreditation from an earlier hire may have expired. E-GMP checks the register and tells you what it finds.

Article 18 of the Philippine Labor Code is why this half exists: no employer may hire a Filipino worker for overseas employment except through entities the Secretary of Labor authorises. In practice that means a licensed agency. Accreditation is filed with the Migrant Workers Office that has jurisdiction, which is Canberra for Australia and Wellington for New Zealand.

If you are a recruitment, labour-hire or migration firm placing the order for a client, the Department’s accreditation route covers that arrangement, with your firm named alongside the employer. You hold the contract. E-GMP holds the licence and does the recruiting, and the terms are on recruitment partners.

The Philippine steps, the document set and the costs are the same for every destination and are set out under employer resources, with the fuller picture of a first hire on the employer page.

Common questions from Australian and New Zealand employers

How does an Australian or New Zealand employer hire a Filipino worker?

Through an entity the Philippine government authorises, which in practice means a licensed recruitment agency. Article 18 of the Philippine Labor Code states that no employer may hire a Filipino worker for overseas employment except through entities the Secretary of Labor authorises. Your company is accredited with the Department of Migrant Workers as a foreign employer, the job order is approved in your name, and sourcing, screening and documentation run from the Philippine side. Your own visa or nomination process runs separately and stays yours.

Is there a licensed Philippine agency a New Zealand employer can use, and how do I check it?

Yes. E-GMP International Corporation holds Department of Migrant Workers licence DMW-232-LB-12212023-R, and the Department publishes the register of licensed agencies so you can confirm it yourself. Immigration New Zealand requires an employer hiring six or more Filipino workers to use a DMW-licensed agent. Below six, direct hiring is possible only under the Philippine direct-hire exemption, and your company still needs foreign employer accreditation on the Philippine side either way.

Which occupations can be nominated for a Filipino dairy or piggery worker in Australia?

The dairy industry labour agreement allows Senior Dairy Cattle Farm Worker and Dairy Cattle Farm Operator. Neither has an ANZSCO code, so both are nominated under code 070499. The pork industry labour agreement's occupation is Senior Stockperson (Piggery). Each carries its own qualification or experience threshold. E-GMP's approved Australian orders include Dairy Cattle Farm Operator under that name.

Can E-GMP recruit trades as well as farm workers for Australia and New Zealand?

Yes. Welders and metal fabricators, mechanics, electricians, fitters, carpenters and plant operators are all roles E-GMP recruits, alongside dairy, livestock and piggery work. Most trades sit on Australia's Core Skills Occupation List, which is a different nomination route from the labour agreement one the farm occupations use. Send the occupation and we will tell you what the Philippine half needs for it.

Has E-GMP recruited for Australian employers before?

Yes. Four Australian employers hold job orders the Department approved between September 2023 and April 2026, coming to 52 workers: Donaldson Farming, a livestock and cropping business at Deniliquin in New South Wales; the Beard and Bidmade dairy partnership; the WK Wickenton Family Trust; and Aluminium Republic, an aluminium extrusion manufacturer at Carrum Downs. E-GMP has deployed workers for Donaldson Farming, Beard and Bidmade and Aluminium Republic. Each order is searchable in the Department's register under the employer's own name.

Can I hire a Filipino worker directly instead of going through an agency?

Only in narrow cases. The exemptions to Article 18 are specific, and the one most employers ask about covers professionals and skilled workers on verified contracts with terms above the Department's minimum standards, where the employer is hiring for the first time and the number does not exceed five. It is also closed to an employer that currently holds accreditation with a licensed Philippine agency, and to one whose accreditation lapsed less than a year ago. Either way your company is accredited on the Philippine side first, so the exemption changes who files the order rather than removing the Philippine half.

What do you need from me to start?

The occupation title exactly as your nomination or job check states it, the headcount, the qualification or experience that title requires, the contract terms, and when you need people on site. If you are earlier than that and have not applied for accreditation or a job check yet, send the requirement anyway. The Philippine accreditation can run at the same time as yours rather than after it.

Tell us the occupation and the headcount

Send the occupation title from your nomination or job check, the headcount, the qualification or experience it calls for, and when you need people on site. We will come back with what the Philippine side needs and what we need from you next, within 24 hours.
