E-GMP matches drivers to the licence category and the vehicle

E-GMP holds an approved job order to recruit 77 CE-category trailer drivers for UAB Fortotrans, a general freight trucking company at Elektrėnai in Lithuania.

The order sets three requirements, and E-GMP screens every candidate against them.

An articulated trailer truck on a highway

A CE licence

CE covers heavy articulated vehicles. The Philippine driving licence uses the same letter code for them.

Driving experience

At least two years driving trailer trucks within the last three years, in the Philippines or overseas.

The vehicle

Long-haul and articulated trucks, including three-axle units.

For the same vehicles, the Philippines also has a national driving qualification, TESDA Driving (Articulated Vehicle) NC III. If your order needs it, include it in the requirement and E-GMP screens for it too. Drivers are tested in the Philippines before they travel.

Each destination country sets its own rule for a foreign licence: it may accept it, exchange it, or require a local test. Send the licence category and the vehicles you operate, and E-GMP confirms what your country requires before anyone is shortlisted. For Lithuania, the work permit route and the documents each side provides are on the Lithuania page.

The drivers, operators and warehouse staff E-GMP recruits

Accreditation, documents, timelines and cost are answered under employer resources, and E-GMP’s full process is on the employer page.

Questions from fleet and logistics employers

Does E-GMP recruit truck drivers for Europe?

Yes. E-GMP holds an approved job order to recruit 77 CE-category trailer drivers for UAB Fortotrans, a general freight trucking company in Lithuania. It has also deployed truck-trailer drivers to Asco Doha in Qatar. The Lithuania page sets out the work permit route there.

Which Philippine licence does a trailer truck driver hold?

The Philippine driving licence uses letter codes, and code CE covers heavy articulated vehicles such as semi-trailer trucks. The Philippines also has a national qualification for driving these vehicles, TESDA Driving (Articulated Vehicle) NC III. Whether your country accepts the licence, exchanges it or requires a local test is set by your country, and E-GMP confirms it for your order before anyone is shortlisted.

We need one heavy truck driver. Will E-GMP take the order?

Yes. A single driver needs the same approvals as a fleet order: your company’s accreditation, an approved job order and a verified contract. Send the licence category and the vehicle, and E-GMP will tell you which of those approvals you already hold.

We handle the permits in our country. What does E-GMP do?

You hold the work permit and the visa or residence process in your country. E-GMP holds the Philippine side: your company’s accreditation, the approved job order, sourcing, screening against the licence and the vehicle, testing, the medical examination, the documents and the exit clearance. The employer resources page lists the documents each side provides.

Does E-GMP only recruit drivers for Lithuania?

No. E-GMP has deployed truck-trailer drivers and heavy-equipment operators to Qatar, and holds approved job orders for drivers, operators and deckhands in Kuwait. Its approved job orders cover eleven countries and 144 different positions. Send the destination and the vehicles, and E-GMP will tell you what the process involves there.

We are a recruitment company placing drivers for a client. Can E-GMP work that way?

Yes. You hold the contract with the fleet. E-GMP holds the Philippine licence, the sourcing, the screening and the documentation, and the approved job order is filed under your own company name. The recruitment partners page sets it out in full.

How can I check E-GMP’s DMW licence?

E-GMP International Corporation holds licence DMW-232-LB-12212023-R and is listed as a licensed agency in the Department of Migrant Workers’ public register, under the classification Private Employment Agency. Its approved job orders are published in the same register under each employer’s own name.
