Drivers for Lithuania, and E-GMP’s orders across Europe
E-GMP regularly receives requests from Lithuanian employers for truck and trailer drivers. Its largest single order in Europe is one of them.
E-GMP is approved to recruit 77 CE-category trailer drivers for UAB Fortotrans, a general freight trucking company at Elektrėnai. The Department of Migrant Workers approved the job order in May 2026.
What the order asks for
Licence
A valid CE licence
Experience
At least two years as a trailer truck driver within the last three
Vehicle
Long-haul articulated trucks, especially three-axle
Where the experience counts
In the Philippines or overseas
We recruit to that specification. Candidates are screened for the licence category and recent driving history, and trade-tested in the Philippines before anyone travels. Before shortlisting, we confirm with you what a driver must hold to drive in Lithuania.
A large order can arrive in groups. Tell us how you want arrivals spaced and we plan sourcing and departures around it.
The approved job order is listed under UAB Fortotrans’s own name in the Department of Migrant Workers’ public register of approved job orders. How to search it, and how to check E-GMP’s licence, is on verify our licence.

Your company is accredited in its own name, through the Migrant Workers Office in Prague
The Philippine Migrant Workers Office in Prague covers Lithuania. It accredits your company as the foreign employer and verifies the job order and the employment contract. The approved job order then carries your company’s name.
Your side, in Lithuania
Your company applies for the Lithuanian work and residence authorisation. It names your company and the role, and E-GMP is not a party to it.
E-GMP’s side, in the Philippines
The accreditation filing, the job order, sourcing, screening and trade tests, the medical examination, documents and exit clearance.
What must match
The job order, the contract and your Lithuanian application must describe the same job. We draft the Philippine job order to match yours.
Both sides can start at the same time. Lithuania sets an annual quota for workers from outside the EU: 24,706 places for 2026. Once it is used up, a permit needs a salary of at least 1.2 times the national average (€2,893.68 a month), or the average salary in a profession on Lithuania’s list of high value-added shortage professions. Both affect how and when your application is assessed. If the Philippine accreditation starts early, it is ready when your permit is.
E-GMP’s full deployment process is on the employer page, and accreditation documents and timelines are answered in full under employer resources.
For Lithuanian staffing and outsourcing companies
If you place workers with client employers, E-GMP recruits for you on the same basis. Your company is accredited as the foreign principal, the job order is approved in your name, and we source, screen and deploy against it.
This applies whether the order is for your own payroll or for a client haulier, plant or contractor. Say who the end employer is when you send the requirement, and we will set out what the Philippine side needs from each of you. The terms for recruitment partners are on the recruitment partners page.
Questions from Lithuanian employers
Does E-GMP recruit for Lithuanian employers?
Yes. E-GMP is approved to recruit 77 CE-category trailer drivers for UAB Fortotrans, a general freight trucking company at Elektrėnai, on a job order approved in May 2026. It has also deployed truck-trailer drivers and steel welders to Asco Doha in Qatar.
Which office accredits a Lithuanian employer?
The Philippine Migrant Workers Office in Prague, which covers Lithuania. E-GMP prepares the accreditation file with you, the Office verifies your company documents, the job order and the employment contract, and the accreditation is issued in your company’s name.
Who applies for the Lithuanian work permit?
Your company does. The Lithuanian authorisation names your company and the role, and E-GMP is not a party to it. We make sure the Philippine job order and the employment contract describe the same job as your application.
Will the drivers hold the licence category we need?
Send the category and the vehicle. We screen for the licence and the recent experience the job needs, trade-test candidates before they travel, and confirm with you what a driver must hold in Lithuania before anyone is shortlisted.
Can a Lithuanian employer hire Filipino workers without a Philippine agency?
Only in narrow cases. Article 18 of the Philippine Labor Code requires overseas hiring to go through an entity the government authorises, which in practice means a licensed agency. The main exemption covers professionals and skilled workers hired by a first-time employer, up to five workers, on verified contracts above the minimum standards. It is closed to an employer that holds accreditation with a licensed Philippine agency, or whose accreditation ended less than a year ago.
Is E-GMP licensed, and how do I verify it?
Yes. E-GMP International Corporation holds licence DMW-232-LB-12212023-R and is listed as a licensed agency in the Department of Migrant Workers' public register, under the classification Private Employment Agency. How to check it, and how to find your own approved job order, is set out under verify our licence.
How long does the Philippine side take?
Typically 30–90 days from job order to deployment, depending on whether your company is already accredited, the roles and the Lithuanian permit. We give you a range for your case and name the step that sets the timing.
What does it cost to hire through E-GMP?
Cost depends on the roles, the headcount and the destination. One part of it is not ours to set: the Migrant Workers Office determines the compensation package on the job order against prevailing wage rates at the destination. Send the requirement and we will set out the costs for your case in writing.
Tell us the roles, the headcount and your start date
Send the roles, the headcount, the licence categories or trade skills, and when you need people at work. We will come back with what the Philippine side needs, how it lines up with your Lithuanian application, and which step sets the timing, within 24 hours.
